This two-part concert evening presents the Biel audience with two new works. The first, Zugzwang, is a 40′ new work by the Zurich composer Tomas Korber, performed by Christian Kobi (saxophone) · Tobias Gerber (saxophone, sampler) · Karolina Öhman (cello) · Tamriko Kordzaia (piano) · Christian Wolfarth (percussion) · Tomas Korber (composition, electronics, feedback)
In the second part, the DDK Trio joins forces with the Japanese musician Sachiko M — an icon of the international electronic music scene — for a unique collaboration, the premiere of which, a 45-minute improvised performance, will take place during this Soirée Bruit in the stunning Zwinglikirche, with the characteristic architectural brutalism of the 1960s.
