Manon Pierrehumbert

Musician

Manon Pierrehumbert was born in 1986. She received her first harp lessons at the music school of the La Chaux-de-Fonds Conservatoire. In London, she continued her studies with Skaila Kanga at the Royal Academy of Music and graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance with distinction in 2009. Finally, she studied at the Hochschule der Künste Bern, majoring in théâtre musical. Manon had the opportunity to play in various orchestras and ensembles. Passionate about contemporary music, she founded the Collectif Bin°oculaire with the aim of combining musical, theatrical and literary elements and premiering works through collaboration with contemporary composers. In 2009, she participated in the Luzern Festival Academy under the direction of Pierre Boulez. She is principal harpist of Collegium Novum Zürich (CNZ) since 2013.
