Manoir Bruit is the sound creation programme of association Bruit, in collaboration with Haus am Gern and Château de Sibra.
From 19 to 25 September 2025, Biel/Bienne-based sound artist and sound bricoleur Philipp Läng was artist-in-residence at Manoir Bruit in Sibra, France, as the sixth guest of the programme. The result of it is Wellblech – Corrugated iron.

For Manoir Bruit, he used the façade of the Manoir Bruit as a sound box. In a spirit of playful investigation, he experimented with the space, creating both visual and audio documentation.
A selection of these audio recordings can be heard live on site at Manoir Bruit and can also be listened to via the Locus Sonus livestream, blending with the surrounding sounds of the park of the Chateau de Sibra – as well as here on this webpage in its pure form, as well as a soundtrack with video.
