To mark the release of the CD “Nyctalopia” on our Bruit label, the trio founded in 2019 will perform in Budapest, Novi Sad, Belgrade, Zagreb, Ljubljana and Vienna. The trio Tetrao Tetrix consists of
Gaudenz Badrutt on electronics, Jean-Luc Guionnet on alto saxophone and Frantz Loriot on viola.
Tetrao Tetrix has developed and asserted its sonic and musical identity through a persistent practice of improvisation linked to the question of form, while integrating concepts that guide improvisation and arranging the three historically marked instruments to create unexplored sound fields.
